Supreme Court tilts job access for asylum seekers

The Administrative Court (VwGH) objected to the decision of the Federal Administrative Court (BVG) and put a stop to access to the labour market for asylum seekers. Originally, the BVG had decided in two cases that asylum seekers must have access to apprenticeships. After the labour market service went into revision, the VwGH has now decided differently: if there is already a negative asylum decision, no employment permit needs to be issued.
