Education for health workers from Sid and representatives of the Public Health Institute Sremska Mitrovica on the topic “Provision of culturally sensitive services and prevention of stress, combustion and secondary trauma in service providers” was held on Saturday, 12.02.2019. in the hall of the Municipal Assembly of Sid. The objectives of this training are to provide the knowledge and skills necessary to provide adequate, timely and culturally-tailored services, with particular emphasis on providing services to refugees, asylum seekers and migrants, as well as the knowledge and skills necessary for the protection of the physical and mental health of health workers. This was also an opportunity for presenting the project “Acceleration of labor market integration of immigrants mapping of skills and trainings” to this part of the public. Main activities of the ALMIT project are the development and piloting of the initial language course, the development and piloting of intercultural and civic sessions, ICT tools (mobile and internet), mapping the professional skills and work experience of the target group, profiling skills, psychological consultation and job search.
